Appellation
Willamette Valley

Vineyard Notes
Our Village Cuvee Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown in Oregon's mid Willamette Valley. The soil at Temperance Hill Vineyard is thin, weathered volcanic basalt in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Freedom Hill Vineyard has very old marine sedimentary soil in the Mt. Pisgah AVA. By blending the wines from these very different sites together, yhe wine captures the complex range of flavors and textures derived from the two major soil types in the Willamette Valley.
Production Notes
Release Date: Mar 2023; Production 129 cases. The grapes were whole cluster pressed. After settling, the juice was barrel fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine completed malolactic fermentation naturally and was aged sur lees for 11 months entirely in used French oak barrels.
Food Pairing Notes
Our first vintage Village Cuvee Chardonnay dictates we will explore the food and wine pairings together as the wine develops.
